Many members of the Washington County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society have donated family files or family histories to the collection housed at the Local History and Genealogy Branch of the Washington County Public Library or to the Washington County Historical Society Archives.
A few major donations have come from the late Jerry B. Devol, the late Owen P. Hawley, the late Clyde Swift, the late Bernice Graham, and our members Elizabeth Stanton Cottle, and Millie Covey Fry.
Enjoy the information we put on this website, yes, but this is just the tip of the iceberg.
