Chapter Information

The Washington County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society was accepted as a chapter of the OGS in 1883. WCCOGS members include beginner, intermediate, and advanced amature genealogy buffs and some professional genealogical researchers. The chapter holds monthly meetings, works on projects, and helps answer genealogical queries for our members.  We are a not-for-profit volunteer organization.

Membership is open to anyone interested in the discovery, preservation, and dissemination of genealogical and historical research and materials.
